Frontline Sound System is a collective of DeeJays, Producers and Artists who originate from Barnsley and work alongside BOM and the new Barnsley arts collective. Frontline has promoted Future Breakz nights in the town showcasing local talent. Frontline have been involved in local workshops for community events and schools and hopes to develop in this direction in the coming years.

This year’s line up will include several styles ranging from hip hop to drum and bass, electronica and break beats. Local and out of town DeeJays will perform next to live acts whilst local street artists paint along both sides of the stage. The main act will be local producer and turntablist Pete Gledall alias “Waxfactor” who will be performing dark, moody hip hop based beats of his own productions. Waxfactor has had various 12-inch releases and will be promoting his forthcoming album at the festival.
